Julian was raised in New York City and has been playing the piano for over 30 years (since age 4). When all the neighbourhood kids were playing basketball, he was also studying the French horn, trumpet, trombone, and violin. Julian attended the Center for the Media Arts, located in Manhattan, majoring in Audio and Recording Engineering. He has since recorded his own album entitled “Julian and Friends”. He has also been the Musical Director for a play with Tony Terry, Edwin Hawkins, El Debarge, and Robin S. He has also worked with Chico Debarge and Chauncey of Black Street. He was a staff musician for St Luke AME Church in Harlem for 2 years and He is currently the Director of Music, Media, and Theatrical Arts at St Stephen Community AME Church in Harlem, NY. Julian is always working in the studio with hot new R&B and Gospel artists/songwriters. “Dorothy Keel” and “Sharon E. Shaw” are just two of the current projects he is working on.. Julian’s long-term goal is to provide an avenue for many young artists, musicians, singers, songwriters, and producers, who have not yet been exposed to the right opportunities to reach their full potential in the R&B and Gospel Industry.
